Happy Black History Month, homies. 🖤
How are you? No, really—how are you? In times such as these, when the world feels uncertain and the weight of it all can press against our spirits, I want to remind you of something essential: your home is your refuge. It should be a space that holds you, nurtures you, and reminds you of who you are.
We are constantly encouraged—by social media, by trends, by the ever-turning wheel of hustle—to “change our environment.” And often, that message comes wrapped in visions of lavish tropical vacations or chic weekend getaways. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing like a micro escape when the time truly calls for it, but what if… what if peace wasn’t something we had to chase? What if we cultivated it right where we are?

Your bedroom, your home office, your living room—each of these spaces has the power to hold warmth, light, and dopamine vibes that feed your soul. A well-placed piece of art, a cozy chair bathed in soft sunlight, a scent that takes you back to a moment of joy—these little things are the foundation of a home that doesn’t just look good, but feels good.
So, this month, as we honor the strength and resilience of those who came before us, let’s also honor ourselves. Let’s create spaces that reflect our joy, our culture, our rest. Let’s pour into our surroundings with the same love and intention that we pour into others.
If you look around your home right now, what’s one thing you could change to bring yourself more peace?
With love,
Andrea
